Uncle Joe is known in the forest as the jolly snowman! He loves all the little critters and always warns them of any dangers.

uncle Joe stands 27 inches tall from the tip of his hat to the bottom of his boots! He is a nice big jolly snowman that is meant to hang on your door, wall or ole cupboard.

I made Uncle Joe from muslin, painted, sanded and baked him for a wonderful prim look. His hat is also made from muslin, grubbied and hand sewn to his head. I wrapped rusty wire around his hat and added greenery and berries.

Uncle Joe has stitched eyes, a rusty nail for a nose and a stitched mouth. So cute, I also gave him a stitched belly button, homespun scarf and matching ribbed cuffs around his painted boots. I gave him a belt made from painted jute rope.

In one arm Uncle Joe holds a baby crow that fell out of his nest. Uncle Joe is taking him to find his mama. In the other hand he has a ring of rusty jingle bells. Unlce Joe likes to keep the jingle bells handy just in case he comes acoss Buster, a mean ole bear that lives in the forest! When he does, he rings the bells loud and clear to alert his freinds that Buster is near! Try as they might none of the animals can make freinds with mean old Buster.

Uncle Joe is sprinkled with glass glitter and will come to you just a wee bit of magic in his hat and a grubby tag that has the words "Frosty Nites" wrote on it.
