Mmmmmm...mmmmm Miss Brietta is resting in the old rockin chair made by her great, great grandpa.....she just finished three of her famous apple fritters. The apples get bigger and juicier every year and Miss Brietta thinks is the best batch of fritters yet! Too tired and full to do much else, Miss Brietta thinks she will sit a spell and maybe take a nap in the warm Alabama sun while she waits for Levi to get back from his fishin trip. Levi has no care for the peddler that comes through once a month and would rather go fishin but Miss Brietta is glad she met the peddler's wagon cuz if not for him she would have not gotten the sugar need to make the fritters.

Miss Brietta knows Levi will bring her a bunch of wildflowers from the field he has to cross to get to the ole fishin hole. Now, Levi loves Miss Brietta's apple fritters and even though she wants to eat the last of the them, she will save them for Levi. She will put the wildflowers in the pretty vase she got from the peddler and then she and Levi will share the rest of the fritters as she listens to his fish tales.

Miss Brietta measures 47 inches tall. She is made from stained, baked, sanded and painted muslin that I have grubbied real good. Miss Brietta has stitched eyes, needlesculpted nose and eyebrows and her mouth is attached. Her hair is made from brown sheep's wool and has been handsewn to her head. Miss Brietta has individual fingers and toes with hand-painted nails. Her dress is a bit gubby from pickin apples and her apron is all dirty from days of cookin in her big ole kitchen.

Miss Brietta will come to you signed, dated and tagged with a grubby tag that reads "Miss Brietta". She will bring her last three fritters that are made from craft dough and scented with yummy caramel apple wax and oil.
