Meet Levi Jackson. It has been some time since Levi could sneak away and go to his favorite fishin hole....just over the big hill and through the wildflowers he like to pick for the missus, is the best fishin hole in Kentucky. Heck, last year Levi won the blue ribbon at the county fair for the biggest fish....one that he caught right close to the rocks.

Well...today Levi knows most of the town folk will be visiting the traveling peddler that comes through once a month....Levi lives a simple life and has no use for the fancy gadgets the peddler has on his wagon....so he gathered some fat, juicy worms, put a new hook on his pole and is on his way to the fishing hole. Levi knows the blue ribbon winner gets the best blackberry pie made by the pastor's wife and he can still taste the sweet juice of the blackberries that were in last year's pie. No way is Levi missing out on that pie just to see the peddler's wares.....

Levi measures a tall 47 inches. He is made of stained, painted, baked and grubbied muslin. Levi has stitched eyes, a needlescupted nose and eyebrows. His lips are hand sewn to his face. Levi has individual fingers and toes with painted nails. His clothes and straw hat are dirty and grubby from workin in the fields. Levis has sheep's wool hair that I handstitiched to his head.

Levi will come to you with his fishin pole made using an old stick and rusty wire for the hook. He will be signed, dated and tagged with a grubby tag that reads "Levi" You will need to catch your own worms as Levi plans to use all of his on this fishin trip.
