I made this doll as a special request and love how she turned out!  I used a pattern by Little Country Blessings to make this awesome black doll.

She measures 30 inches tall.   The doll is made of muslin that I used aging techniques on before painting it black.  It was then sanded and stained.

The doll has stitched eyes with needle sculpted nose, mouth and eyebrows..  Her hair is a bit of sheep's wool that is needle felted in place. 

The aged clothes are of flannel.  The hems are left raggy. 

The black crow sitting on the doll's shoulder has been made with the same aging process as the doll.  He has wings on both sides and a stitched eye.  He is hand stitched to the doll. 

Your will doll will come to you with her crow, muslin bag filled with sweet annie and a grubby name tag.  She will be signed and dated.
