Our Country Shaker Shelf is a boxed shelf with a bead board backing.   We added 2 wooden pegs.
 
The shelf measures 16 inches wide x 10 inches tall.   The top shelf is 5.25 inches deep and the bottom shelf is 4.5 inches deep.
