Our Country Kitchen shelf resembles a bench.  We added 2 wooden pegs to each side of the shelf. 

I think it would look so cute in the kitchen with red checked towels hanging on one side and maybe an apron and bonnet on the other side....

It is made of solid pine and is hand-painted and distressed for an old, worn look.

It measures 22 inches wide x 12 inches tall x 5-1/2 inches deep.
